As a high school drop out with a PhD, she understands that everyone’s path through education is unique. She is a straight-talking but non-judgmental guide who is eager to support you, whatever your educational goals may be.

For over 30 years, Rachelle has specialized in student success, peer-supported learning, and the psychology of teaching and learning. She is a founding member of Carleton University’s Centre for Initiatives in Education and the Enriched Support Program. Her student success initiatives include the Peer-Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) program and Academic Prep: How to Be a University Student. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology, with an interest in procrastination, motivation, and first-generation students. Outside of her academic life, Rachelle has a passion for reading, vegetarian cooking, and weekends in Montreal.
