Learning Strategies for Note-Taking (with Dr. Deena Kara Shaffer)
April 2, 2024, 7 - 7:45 PM ET
Virtual over Zoom
"What do I write down?" "Do I use my computer?" "What do I do if I miss something that my teacher says?" Note-taking is a crucial skill for learners of all ages, yet is seldom taught outright. Learners hear things like, "just write down what's most important." But what is that? How can students tell? And how should notes be formatted? This session will share with parents core strategies for anxiety-reducing, clear notes that support focus, listening, studying, and improved performance on tests and exams.
